Hokkai Nebatoro Seafood Bowl

With the nuanced flavors of “nebatoro” as the base, this rice bowl is topped with a total of 6 types of seafood, including salmon, salmon roe, and sea urchin. The result is a seafood bowl that’s so delicious it’s addictive. Three famous varieties of Hokkaido kelp are used, Harudori kombu (picked young in the spring), Gagome kombu, and Nekoashi kombu. A special soy and dashi stock sauce, draws out the viscosity of this seaweed, creating the nebatoro sticky and savory topping for the rice.
